I hold an Educational Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction as well as a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Concordia University with a PK-12 Principal Endorsement and PK-12 Principal Licensure. Additionally, I am a credentialed Ohio Teacher Evaluation System 1.0 and 2.0 evaluator, a credentialed Ohio Principal Evaluation System 1.0 and 2.0 evaluator, and a credentialed Ohio School Counselor Evaluator. I have recently begun taking courses toward a Ed. D. in Curriculum and Instruction. Additionally, I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning and 1-8 Elementary Generalist Certification from Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Music Education from Ashland University. I have held various leadership positions as an assistant principal, curriculum director, dean of students, graduate teaching associate, and as a teacher. I have experience in many areas at all levels of education, from Preschool to Postsecondary.
I have experience as an assistant principal and curriculum director at East Knox Local Schools and as an assistant principal at Bucyrus Elementary School. I have also held the position of Dean of Students. These positions have allowed me to gain valuable experience in many areas of educational leadership. Areas in which I have gained positive experience include curriculum, student discipline, teacher evaluation, rapport-building, communication, building-wide action plan implementation, professional development, and data-driven instruction through the use of the OIP.
